Funny thing is, you and I have disagreed on many issues without either of us calling the other a bigot (maybe other stuff tho Laughing).
That's the case with the vast majority of the people I argue with here. Okie's still bent out of shape about having the truth of the sources of his anti-immigration propoganda repeatedly demonstrated... as is Foxy. Neither could demonstrate the integrity to even admit when their bogus points were destroyed; let alone the intellectual honesty you demonstrated when you abandoned your original position. I may well have accused you of siding with the bigots, prior to your change of heart.

Said change of heart is one of only two examples I can think of where protracted argument here appeared to actually change someone's mind. Good on you, that.

I don't remember the subject; but I think it was also you I was arguing with the only time I was given a time-out by the mods. Cool

The Water-bigot is nowhere near even Okie or Foxy's level of class. He is simply a blowhard with no sources whatsoever for his BS... He blatantly calls attention to race while slinging idiotic insults, where race plays no roll in even the point he is trying, though failing, to make. Okie and Foxy both do themselves a disservice by defending the racist piece of ****. It is precisely the adamant defense of morons like the Water-bigot that make one wonder about Okie… since he seldom spews that kind of garbage himself.

Obama now claiming he is on the banking committee, when he isn't. Is this guy real?

Again, Bill, I find this getting very tiresome, but to continue beating your dead horse, I already said I have not read every post of H2OMAn, and I have already condemned his manner of speech, but if you can produce an example of racism, do it, otherwise kindly knock it off and find some other subject to talk about besides your obsession of race and bigotry.

H2OMAN is not the issue. The issue is your obsession with throwing out racist and bigotry accusations willy nilly.

Obama is "uppitty" and his supporters are "black block pigs" who need to be washed away with "water cannons".

The seed of Bull Conner is among us...

Can Obama be accused of hubris without meaning "uppitty?"

well... yeah. But it's hard not to mean "uppitty" if you use the word "uppitty", which is what H2O did.

So he did...

I'll stick with hubristic, and presumptuous.

Obama teaching history to the Germans! Give us a break! This is incredible.

If what I heard is a good example of the speech, it was a flop, period.

He's speaking to more then just the people there, you incredible dolt.

Okie, you are quickly becoming a pale shadow of your former self. You used to at least occasionally make insightful posts on topics, but your obsession with Obama and knocking him in every post you can is not only weak gruel, it's pathetic and laughable.

This is untrue. I spend quite a bit of time propping Obama up, not just knocking McCain. Neither you nor Okie spends any appreciable amount of time promoting McCain at all; you instead focus all your energy on attacking Obama as much as possible.

It's easy to understand, but still pathetic.

I'm sure you are, because you can see that he is going to be the next president, and your side is going to get smacked down in the Congress as well. Get used to it instead of constantly bitching, would be my advice.

Giving a speech is a spectacle?

You're just pissed, because McCain could never have something like this, ever. He isn't even capable of it. He doesn't inspire confidence, he isn't a leader.

In terms of working to get the presidency, Obama is certainly putting in the effort.

It seems the difference between McCain and his supporters is that McCain wants McCain to be president. I'm questioning that now though. If McCain wanted it, he'd be working harder.

Why would McCain care about having a million Germans attend one of his campaign speeches? Germans don't vote for the American president.

You know who else had a lot of charisma, gathered a lot of Germans for his speeches and gave speeches at the same location?
