Straight males worrying about homosexuality would be better served if they explored the causes of female frigidity. Inadvertantly, this might be why some males make any choice to try "the other way." Conversely, insensitive boorish straight males may be causing females to seek intimate comfort from other females. It is a complex subject and there is no one pat answer or psychiatric and genetic studies would have fully revealed what is basically nothing to worry about. Relax, it's just sex.

Dr. John Harvey Kellogg (the corn flake man) advocated the application of pure carbolic acid to the clitoris as "an excellent means of allaying the abnormal excitement". Dr. John Harvey Kellogg was a medical doctor in Battle Creek, Michigan who ran a sanitarium using holistic methods, with a particular focus on nutrition, enemas and exercise. He only died some few years ago 1943!

I suggest verbal diarrhea produces the same net effect. A number of candidates present themselves in the US Administration, in fact I've heard rumors of some sort of brain drain, must be what you mean, right?

It seemed to me that you had some special interest in the issue, that's all. I was just wondering what that interest could be.

Honestly?
My 'special interest' here is the study of human nature.
I find discussions involving nature/nurture to be fascinating, and this particular example is a sterling one.
It is unfortunate to the discussion that so many are so deeply emotionally involved as to see an attack or an agenda in every statement.

No, not every statement, at all. Just quite a few of them! And I think it has more to do with distaste than some form deep emotional involvement.

Nah, sorry Chumly. Just haven't the time right now. (Nor the inclination, actually.) I'm online working on reports <groan> & every now & then I'm tempted back into A2K. (I think this is called procrastination.)
