just one question, the crocodile third from the left was called who?
I think his name was "spendi."
Fascinating thanks for your pictures CI, the swing bridge brought back a lot of childhood memories of my brothers and I running and jumping along it just to see how high the bridge could bounce us!!

Ah...that explains quite a lot ci
I enjoyed seeing your pictures, cicerone. Absolutely fabulous
journey - I especially liked the ones from Antigua.
Those are gorgeous photos!
CJ, I fell in love with Antigua. It's small enough to enjoy, and the Spanish influence of their architecture exudes serenity and comfort. The mountains and volcano surrounding the village is an extra plus. It's what I call "rustic."
I especially liked the 'Peek Through Karla's Telescope'. The giant cockroaches.... met them in person in India. Students squash them for fun <shudder>.
If I never see them again it will be too soon.
Such awesome pics!!! It's great for you to be sharin' with us lucky people.
I have a Q: that temple in Tikal, is it Aztec? Or something else?
All of the temples in Guatemala are Mayan.
