I don't know, Eorl. I'm not so sure that guilt or remorse is exclusive to humans. Is there any evidence to support the idea that they lack a sense of conscience?

Well echi, you don't see too many locusts in therapy. Some higher mammals may have some sense of guilt, but environmental awareness I doubt very much.

HN51.. ..you are kidding right? or maybe a hermit with no access to TV or internet ?! It could well bring the world to it's knees in less than a year.

Fair enough, I apologize.

HN51 is a virus sweeping the world via birds that tends to kill humans (and now maybe cats) who have contact with the birds. So far it's not transmissible between humans...but that may change, and when it does it's gonna get ugly.
(Unless of course you don't believe in evolution, in which case the virus won't change at all and everyone is safe :wink: )
