Putting salt on a railroad track can be punishable by death in the state of Alabama.

This makes some sense because salt can be used a a corrosive and can eat away at the metal, therefore destroying/damaging the tracks. Which means that you would risk the lives of the passengers. I guess they dont inspect their tracks in Alabama.

hi some of these laws are really stupid. in england it it still illegal to fly the Union Jack from a civilian boat.

London Hackney Carriages (taxis/cabs) must carry a bale of hay and a sack of oats.

It is illegal to be drunk on Licensed Premises (in a pub or bar).how that one works i have no idea.

Any person found breaking a boiled egg at the sharp end will be sentenced to 24 hours in the village stocks (enacted by Edward VI).

Any boy under the age of 10 may not see a naked manequin.

All English males over the age 14 are to carry out 2 or so hours of longbow practice a week supervised by the local clergy. these laws are still active.
like any of them would work theses days lol.
