Oh, how beautiful, Phoenix. That would be a nice
Hallmark card picture.

Lately, I have been going to all the local bird, animal, and flower places. At this point in time, I have not really become too comfortable with Photoshop Elements, which I have. Any corrections that I have made to the pictures have been with Picasa, which I think is a gem of a program.

I LOVE the way that the colors in both of those photos mimic your avatar, Phoenix!

Nice photos. Really good.

You should be able to sell them. Striking! And, yeah with the avatar similarity.

Gosh!

Also just so vibrant and non-wintery. (Says someone who's had a bit much of winter, if not so much as those Easterners...)

That is a really interesting insight, boomer. I never even thought about that.

What I love about digital, was in both the pictures, in the originals, the subjects were only a part of the entire picture. I love when I can crop, and still have all the detail!

I think it safe to say that you're good Phoenix. You really do need to make a collection of high-resolution imagery and burn it to a CD. You'd likely be able to get some of that sold.

How?

Well, for starters, there are tons of stock photography companies that will purchase the rights to digital images such as these. You can also create your own cd's and sell them via a website. Not that hard really, merely time consuming and a bit of overhead at the beginning.

This is a little softer, and more impressionistic than I usually shoot, but I found it interesting. And yes, it is a bit of flora. I seem to be into tree parts! Laughing
