Sure Bear, you about as likely to leave right now as MOAN is . . . i get the feeling she'll be here for a long time to come--like a skin disease which just won't go away . . .

p.s. to walter,

i do not want to embarrass others on A2K. atheism can be a respectable position. A2K members who may have promoted atheism may themselves honestly agree with me that atheism has been proselytized.

Its one thing to press and proseltyze openly, and entirely another to do so while claiming to not do so. A better illustration of the bigotry, ignorance, intolerance, hypocracy and dishonesty central to the Fundamentalist Christian Proposition than the interplay this flap has brought about hardly can be imagined. Way to go Fundies - great job.

Bear, I'm really getting worried about you going all soft and squishy now that Squinney is out of town.

I would be worried for Squinney if Bear were not soft and squishy when she is away! Very Happy

Can we hear all about wandeljw? I've seen him around, but who is he, really?

I think he needs more attention. Very Happy

Also, what's Rog been up to lately? And, is Walter cracking up anybody other than me? This is a Walter renaissance!!

Why do people post farewell letters? Why not just go? It kind of burns all of your bridges doesn't it? Because you may want to come back in a couple months.

She never left. I think the lie she wrote saying she was leaving should represent a breach of contract.

A distressed member's Farewell Thread on a web forum is sorta like a Farewell Tour by The Who - you miss this one, there's always the next one.

When someone bids adieu, the expectation is that the person honestly intends to leave. A quick return, to me, indicates a manipulation on the part of the person.

My mother used to tell me when I was about two, and didn't get what I want, I would threaten to throw up. Rolling Eyes
