if it was curved, it would eventually meet itself again....may not be saying that exactly right, but it's the best I can say.

May be a minor point, but even if in the flat universe, if it is finite, a line started at point A could return to the point A.

The poppy seed thing and the raisin loaf are also global examples that do not show an explosion but an expansion after the fact that they had a creator, or seed to expand from. Any shape 2D or 3D has an aproximate center wether uniform or not. The examples you gave were of outer constalations, yet there are still inner constalations. the raison bread example still shows that the raisins around the the one in the middle still move the same differential speeds from it. slower on the inside, faster on the outside, same with the balloon.

Quantum mechanics is spooky as the finest tool we have is too blunt for the purpose. The photon itself affects the the subatomic particle so there was no way to determine the position of any subatomic particle. It is like trying to catch a bird. The bird can hear every step of your foot and fly away. Till we find some other means of detection we can only guess using statistics and probabilities.

That is beautiful in word , but neither relevant nor constructive to the subject at hand. Sounds like a cop out me.

You must be tired, Good Night!

Chai Tea,

Going to dream of the future AFFECTING the past? It sounds like you live in a dream world where what you do now can change your past. Your future can only make up for your past, not change it. What is done is done. If you want to make up for it , and secure a brighter future that does not dwell on the past, let me know. I have an answer.

Are you calling me ignorant? What's your point? If you want to have a debate, let's debate.

What's your background in the subject you're opining about - the Physics of cosmology? It's a simple question. Don't pretend to misunderstand it.

I am not pretending to misunderstand your question. When you asked the first time, I guess I was a little offended (perhaps I misinterpreted your tone).
Is there a relevant reason why you are interested in my background? If you want to debate something just use the simplest words and descriptions that you can. If I need you to go slower, I'll tell you.

Your ignorance is astounding his2serve

Did you derive your information off the back of a cereal box?

Oh, ok I concede, the planet earth is the center of the entire universe. All bow down to our glory. Rolling Eyes

BTW - I meant effect, not affect. Your knowledge of the english language is slightly wanting also.

lol ok big bag is just a theory, just like everything else in science wich bugs me beacuse if one theory isnt true, then about 50% of all others cant be either.

"Somewhere in its bundle of complexety is a pocket of lies, and uncirtantiy."

The big bag theory.
Isn't that the theory that postulates the universe is held together by an enourmous walls of paper/plastic?

Oh, not again.

Must we repeatedly explain the meaning of a scientific theory over and over again?

A scientific theory is:
"A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been repeatedly tested or is widely accepted and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena."

Be glad some religious person came up with the idea of the Big Bang. Otherwise, scientists would be talking about Steady State, which stated that the Universe had always existed and will always existed, thus leaving no room for a Creator God.
