Oh, great ghost, ghoulish and ghastly,
Watch over me well, first and lastly.
Guard the stair and my bedroom door.
Your careful creaking I do implore.
Melodious moaning, hallowed hall,
Faint frightning footsteps I do recall.
Oh, great ghost, ghoulish and ghastly,
Watch over me well, first and lastly.
Your dusty chains and boring boos,
Creates the dread I hate to lose.
Amidst the shimmer of a sight unseen,
Floats flickering fires and freaky fiends.
Doors that rattle and clanging pan,
Shelter me with your haunting hands.
Spiteful spirit in grisly gloom,
Telltale torment of tepid tomb.
Oh great ghost, ghoulish and ghastly,
Watch over me well, first and lastly.
