Leonardo da Vinci and quiz, what kind of thinker are you?
Very Interesting!

I'm an Intrapersonal thinker:

Spend a lot of time thinking about and trying to understand themselves
Reflect on their thoughts and moods, and work to improve them
You understand how your behaviour affects your relationships with others

Like intrapersonal thinkers, Leonardo worked hard to improve all aspects of himself. Other Intrapersonal thinkers include
Sigmund Freud, Gandhi, Grahame Greene

Careers which suit Intrapersonal Thinkers include
Psychologist, Teacher, Pilot, Child care worker, Explorer, Drama therapist

Logical-Mathematical thinkers:

Like to understand patterns and relationships between objects or actions Try to understand the world in terms of causes and effects Are good at thinking critically, and solving problems creatively
Like Logical-Mathematical thinkers, Leonardo based his theories on evidence rather than speculation.

Other Logical-Mathematical Thinkers include
Isaac Newton, Archimedes, Albert Einstein

Careers which suit Logical-Mathematical thinkers include
Physicist, Chemist, Biologist, Lawyer, Computer programmer, Engineer, Inventor

You know, it's funny, because you can take one test and the results will show one type of thinker. Then when you take another kind of test, it will come up with different results.

It just depends on the type of questions they ask, and how in-depth it gets. This one was a very short test. The one I took before from another source, was a very extensive IQ test, and it revealed logical/mathematical/spacial/patterns/etc.

It's very possible to be more than one kind of thinker! But in a little test such as on the BBC site, it's probably designed to sum up a narrow result, for the sake of simplicity.

Oh, all right... Actually, it says I am a Musical Thinker (like edgar, patiodog, and sakhi). No surprise since I'm a guitar teacher.

I'm a linguistic and musical thinker. A little unnerving to be in the company of Sylvia Plath....

They pegged me as an existential thinker.
Go figure. Apparently, I can go for a career as Head of State. Hmm... Perhaps I'll send a letter to Bush, and crossreference this site as a recommendation?

There was a bunch of times I doubted what to fill in though, where exactly to pin myself..

(Ha! come to think of it, that fits the profile exactly, doesnt it? Razz)

Anyway, I wanna do it again, see if I get the same score.

Also, what struck me re: myself (just to be intrapersonal about it ;-)) is that I almost never filled in "Jump at the chance" (or the like) or "Never" (or the like) - almost always filled in one of the three in-between categories. Dunno what that means. Laid-back or apathetic? ;-)

Did other people get two?

You are an Intrapersonal thinker
Intrapersonal thinkers:

You understand how your behaviour affects your relationships with others

You are an Existential Thinker
Existential thinkers:
Like to spend time thinking about philosophical issues such as "What is the meaning of life?"
Try to see beyond the 'here and now', and understand deeper meanings
consider moral and ethical implications of problems as well as practical solutions

Like existential thinkers, Leonardo questioned man's role in the universe. Many of his paintings explored the relationship between man and God. Other Existential Thinkers include
The Buddha, Gandhi, Plato, Socrates, Martin Luther King

Careers which suit Existential Thinkers include
Philosopher, Religious leader, Head of state, Artist, Writer

OK, I'm a Renaissance Ideal and a Linguistic Thinker. This is, I gather, a bit of baloney to hide how unmusical I really am.

A Renaissance Ideal and a Linguistic Thinker. According to the test I would make a good librarian. There is a disconnect here someplace. I have some publications in the library I'll be damned if I'm going to spend the rest of my life shelving them

Oh, I didn't follow through to see what career path they might've sent me on. (we seem to have the same combo ascription, Acquiunk). Oh, well.

On the other hand, I usually agree with you on a2k. The oh, well is re their idea of my purportive career.

I'm a spatial thinker and a naturalistic thinker.

I dig that, since it says I'm well-suited to be an artist. So that's all right then. When I show publishers my portfolio I will just tell 'em I'm meant to be an artist, and then I will get all the jobs I want. Excellent.

How did I guess you were a Musical Thinker and Existential Thinker? Because everytime I read something you write, the Jeopardy theme music intrudes on my head and the air turns purple.
