@Green Witch,
I'm almost never bored. This may be a disqualifier, woman who can't just give up. Sure I give up, I just jump to the next thing in my mind.

So, wait, what am I wearing? Back in a minute.

Oh, wait, I already posted on that. Laughs.

I see your drinking the hard stuff straight up now! Be careful if you have to drive tonight. That chocolate milk has such a hidden kick! Neutral

@ossobuco,
Show jumper.

Captain Canada.

Quote:
With his horse, Big Ben (1976-1999), Millar won more than 40 Grand Prix titles worldwide and the Show Jumping World Cup two years in a row. At the Pan American Games in August 1987, Ian Millar became the second Canadian to win an individual gold medal. He holds the North American record for Grand Prix and Derby wins. He has been a member of every Canadian Equestrian Team at the Show Jumping World Championships team since 1972. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, Millar competed at his ninth games, tying the record set by Hubert Raudaschl.

I missed the horse craziness as a teenager, although several of my friends were completely caught up in it.

I kinda get it now, even though I still only go to a couple of live events each year.

I love the live lamb auctions and milking competitions, and poultry judging as well. I guess some part of me is still a small-town fall fair- going girl.

@ehBeth,
The name was familiar and so was his face. Didn't look like any dressage I've seen, duh. As a child I read Black Beauty and the Black Stallion series, did a little riding (and I mean little) but my first friend in a class at university was killed riding and that put me off, aside from not having stables near and the money involved.
Years later, my business partner rode dressage and a friend of hers is an international judge, so I started to pay more attention to all that (though not, obviously, jumping).

Lamb judging, oh my. I might just plotz from delight.
