Oh, I might as well describe my present moment:

wearing: saggy old loved paisley olive colored sweat pants, grey stretch tee, long sleeved flannelly olive men's shirt that I bought probably in the eighties from an Eddie Bauer store (I was still married then, looking at the men's stuff as well as the women's) because I liked the mandarin type collar, and it fit me. I guess I have a mandarin collar fettish - I even liked nehru jackets and still like whaddyacallem's (I'll report back if I remember the name - its sort of a long john undershirt look with a small collar that doesn't flip over).
Baby blue new faux crocs, one that is very slightly too short for my right foot.
hearing nothing but one car on the street behind my house
eating: nothing, just finished a couple of handfuls of peanuts (deal on them at the store yesterday; it must be the nuts-are-cheaper-for-this-one-week-of-the-year time)
drinking: Reed's Extra Ginger Brew. I'm sorry I bought that. I like it, and I hardly ever drink soda pop.
doing: Cooking rice for a planned effort to make and freeze eight burritos (miserable new mexican flour tortillas, leftover chipotle in adobo meatloaf, japanese rice, black beans, chopped spanish onions, grated colby cheese). Considering making molasses ginger walnut cookies.
feeling: avoidance guilt - I should be out there in the yard weeding.
wanting: yet again, a lottery win, still impossible without purchasing a ticket
looking forward to: girls' day out with Diane tomorrow - errands, but we usually have fun
