wearing: dark green, I dunno, slimmish cotton pants; yellow linen top, really lovely, except that it is entirely wrinkled, as I loathe ironing and am fond of real linen - and that reminds me of a new yorker story not long ago about a mother and daughter and many transfers of the yellow shirt (I don't remember the author just now). Oh, and the chunky goldish Fossil watch.

@Swimpy,
wearing: coppery cords, my black boots (it's cold again), dark gray t-shirt with some embroidery, turquoise cotton scarf, denim jacket, and what appears to be a couple of black eyes (not enough sleep, sinuses, something, I look like crap but feel marginally less crappy than I look)

wearing: The same dark green cotton pants, a grey blue green (uh, sea green?) long sleeved tee, the chunky watch, the usual dansko pony shoes, the good ring (the one from c. 1917 with the cut blue green zircon)
hearing: friday afternoon traffic on the through street behind my house
drinking: grapefruit juice diluted w/water
doing: relaxing
looking forward to: a good walk in the morning
feeling: anxious about this and that (money, mostly), but not unhappy
wanting: to get myself in gear on the front yard..

note: I failed the test, sort of. (I yam what I yam.) My r. pigmentosa problems interfere with a good test, in that I have tunnel vision, thus didn't see a lot of the lights in either the before or after visual field test (not the test I am used to), thus the improvement from having the lid held up was lower than for others who have droop lid problems. I just miss the medicare cut off - but the surgeon thinks the photos will be need-convincing. If medicare says no, she'll write more detailed expository. I could be gritting my teeth, but I'm glad to get home and relax.
I'll post on the o' eyes thread once it's resolved.

@Gargamel,
Just pray no one watches the Cub game on the television or streaming online then recognizes you in the stands.

Still? A Wrigley Field game? I'm mighty jealous! Evil or Very Mad

@tsarstepan,
I comfort my conscience by reminding myself that I call in sick but once every April, to catch my Brewers in Chicago. Saving vacation days for the honeymoon in October.
