Ha! Had to include that just to see who'd bite. Yep -- genuine tanned cod skin. My mom has always bought me the best earring. (They're like leather and grey-green dangling oblongs -- not fish-shaped.)

wearing: black yoga pants, white t with flat ruffled neckline, white cotton knit wrap-around sweater with lace trim at front/ruffles at cuff, tasteful gold ring/bracelets/earrings, giant not so tasteful silver/gold-coloured watch, white padded sport socks, giant gaudy plastic flowers on elastics holding up my hair. ok not so giant - but big enough to be gaudy.

I've been staring at Beth's post since last night, trying to think of how to comment. But my head went into overtime, probably because I had my own *block* after my dad died. It took me more than five years to finally hit the delete button on his email address.
