What's a lemon shake-up?

Its just about the best drink you can get at any type of fair or festival.
Its made with lemons, sugar, and water.

I found a recipe online so you can try it.
But be warned, if your are a diabetic, it has a high sugar content.
You can however, use artificial sweetener instead of sugar.

http://www.recipezaar.com/Lemon-Shake-Up-33306

1/2 cup sugar
2 lemons, cut in half
water
ice
Directions
1In a 16 oz glass pour in sugar.
2Squeeze lemons to juice them (into glass) and then add the squeezed halves.
3Add ice, then water to fill.
4Cover and"shake" until sugar is dissolved.

@Swimpy,
I was out when the Ohio State game was on, I looked around on my Blackberry for scores, found this site that provided play-by-play, clicked "next" at intervals and saw exactly what had happened since I last checked. It was so awesome. (And a blow-out, so I'm not really sorry I missed it. OSU won but blowouts are boring. OK, I would've liked to see the 76-yard TD reception though...)

Oooh!

I always kind of miss Madison and the farmer's market but this time of year it's particularly acute. Fall = WI apples and cheese. The best best best.

@Joeblow,
wearing: black jersey long pants, coral stripe stretch sleeveless tee peeking under pea green long tee, ugly pink faux crocs. I need some new ones with more subtlety. A friend sent a real croc deal coupon, but I'm cheaper than that - just wish my local walgreen's would stock the faux ones again.

looking forward to: Good news for the tsar - I'm not sure I remember tsar from abuzz, but I like his posts and he's a friend of Thomas and more. I'm signed up for good news.
feeling: wary, have some paperwork stuff going on that I could be late in delivering, with consequences
wanting: hope

Joeblow, tell us about the ring!
