She said it means- some people always like to argue even though they don't know what they are arguing about. So, sozobe and kicky basically got the gist of it.

No, no, High Seas was telling me in German, that some people always
want to argue even though they have no clue. "Some people" is me of course Laughing

This was in referrence to the airline/toddler thread. Never mind that I've been traveling on planes (even transatlantic) with a young child.

nimh liked that very much, because he's said the same thing to me.

More relevantly re this thread, of course, is that it would really make for a good sig line. "Bracketing" one's own posts as it were..
