Who was it, nimh? I was sure you, if anyone, would know the answer.

And while we're at it, who said, "Yet even in a climate where Republicans hold command of every branch of government, and advocate views shared by a majority of voters, the mainstream media continues to treat red state Americans as pachyderms in the mist - an alien and off-kilter group of suburbanite churchgoers about which little is known, and whose natural habitat is a discomforting place for even the most hardened reporter from the New York Times."?

I'll wait for your answer.

Hey, didn't Boy George say something like that once?

I still can't understand why Culture Club isn't doing albums and touring anymore.

I mean, great music never goes out of style. Neither does sexy dancing.

KitKat speaks on relationships:

"all I was trying to say is that our relationship goes deeper than just dish soap. It isn't really about the soap at all. It goes much deeper than that. ...
It never really was about the soap, it's just about respecting each other and being supportive. No inatimate object we encounter in life is ever worth fighting over. "

For some reason this made me bust a gut. I can't look at it...I can't..it's torturous and makes my face hurt. Smile

When Love beckons to you, follow him,
Though his ways are hard and steep
And when his wings enfold you yield to him,
Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound you.
And when he speaks to you believe in him,
Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the North wind lays waste the garden.
For even as love crowns you so shall he crucify you.
Even as he is for your growth so he is for your pruning
Even as he ascends to your height and caresses your tenderest branches that quiver in the sun,
So shall he descend to your roots and shake them in their clinging to the earth.
Like sheaves of corn he gathers you unto himself.
He threshes you to make you naked
He sifts you to free you from your husks.
He grinds you to whiteness.
He kneads you until you are pliant;
And then he assigns to you his sacred fire, that you may become sacred bread for God's sacred feast.
And these things shall love do unto you that you know the secrets of your heart,
And in that knowledge become a fragment of Life's Heart.
But if in your fear you would seek only love's peace and love's pleasure,
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of Love's threshing floor,
Into the seasonless world where you shall laugh, but not all of your laughter, and weep, but not all of your tears.

For Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself.
Love possesses not nor would it be possessed;
For Love is sufficient unto Love.

When you love you should not say " God is in my heart", but rather " I am in the heart of God."
And think not that you can direct the course of Love, for Love if it finds you worthy, directs your course.

Love has no other desire than to fulfill itself,<
But if you love and must needs have desires, let these be your desires:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody into the night.
To know the pain of too much tenderness.
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.
To rest at the noon hour and meditate love's ecstasy;
To return home at eventide with gratitude;<
And then to sleep with a prayer for the beloved in your heart and a song of praise upon your lips.

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. If it didn't destroy the 250 character limit, I'd have it on my sig line right now.

Until the love runs from you...sap-like...
covering the ground beneath you with sticky sweetness....
which he shall worship
from a prone position on his stomach....

He will toast you tenderly
then butter you with reckless abandon...
Trucker-like, he will devour you long before
the waitress of restraint can serve her coffee....
He will sate his relentless appetite with your charming crunchiness....
and....smile......

Well, ok, just a little bit more...

Quote:
Then it is better for you that you cover your nakedness and pass out of Love's threshing floor,

Lest you fall into that merciless thresher to be
packed into an uptight little bale of unfulfilled passion forever more...

Quote:
To melt and be like a running brook that sings its melody into the night.

To gurgle and be like a lit candle flickering in the lonliness....

Quote:
To be wounded by your own understanding of love;
And to bleed willingly and joyfully.

To giddily and glady impale yourself on the sharpest point
of the most romantic star and masichositcally wish for more
while the sadisitc star laughs and winks at the moon...... :wink:
blah, blah, blah....
