For 10 years, I've weekended in early April on Cape Cod.
One of the highlights of the weekend has always been Dinner at Gallerani's, a nice little restaurant on Commercial Street... but, alas, we went for our annual outing to discover Gallerani's... gone.
Apparently, the site was bought by another restaurant called "Lorraine's", which specializes in mexican food (and moreso in Tequila).

No more Chicken Gallerani, with Mesclun salad and Raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
No more Baked Stuffed Pork Chop o'er which to wax poetically.
And no more gigunda Sapphire Martini to enhance the pallate.

The annual spring outing was significantly diminished by the loss.

I miss tons of eateries. I wonder is some could be declared landmarks and subsidized. ;-)

Magus, I can't redcall which restaurant it is! Is it the one near Muscle Beach with the outdoor patio?
