Pick up after you, ms margo! Ha! I fully intend to have several, too! Laughing

Just as well I'm bringing a mate - he might have to carry both of us! (well - he's been carrying me on the tennis court for years.......... Smile  )

Forget request.

You've seen us ... we deserve the same level of respect. Respect. We're talking about simple respect.

You kidding, osso? Those were her actual words?

She said my real life last name..... amazing!

That is amazing, osso.

... I thought you meant she she called you "ossobucco" ..... Now if she'd been a closet A2K member & had known the whole story of your shift, that would have been utterly amazing!

The thing is and a sad thing it is, is that Ossos' new house backs right against the Petroglyph National Monument BUT there is a 8 foot high wall/sound barrier across the back of her yard rendering the monument unseeable.

Nothin' a simple elevated deck can't cure, dys...although Osso is likely to come up with plans of her own to fix that.

Interesting map on who moved where, re Interstate Migration:

Seems, osso, you were trendy in leaving CA and helped NM to get their figures balanced

Some photos from my moving trip, none of them all that wonderful as photos, but they may give a sense of territory driven through...

There's a bunch. I'll post about six at a time. Attention deficit, y'know.

View from gas station in San Juan Battista, the mission town south of San Francisco where I had the great breakfast

View of the cemetery not far from that gas station
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/ossobuco/1-19-2006-04.jpg

View of the inland area near the Santa Inez Valley, which is north, and somewhat inland of Santa Barbara
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v722/ossobuco/1-19-2006-06.jpg

Photo from rest stop as I got to the coast at Goleta, a windy area generally, sitting that morning in a swathing of fog. That's the ocean to the right of the photo.

Myself and my niece in west Los Angeles before I took off for highway 10 across California, Arizona, part of New Mexico...
- skipped because I probably would not be able to edit it out.

Motel in Blythe, California - Christmas eve by the sheltering palms..

More of the motel (I'll come back and post the name, forget it right now)..
