Mr. Noddy is vascillating about whether or not to buy a bra for the car. He'd like to live with the new look ASAP, but our garage isn't heated.
How complicated would it be to install the bra? Would it be possible for a man with arthritic fingers to accomplish in an unheated garage?
Are we talking installation time of an hour? Of fifteen minutes?
Please help.
depending on the bra, most likely 15 minutes.
HEEEEEEEEEELP!!!!
What on earth is this?

It's a guy thing.
Further, guys giggle about the underwear tag, but they love and respect their Four Wheel Babes.
exCuse me, I drive a Porsche.
WHAT IN **** IS A CAR BRA!!!???
Dys--
Please accept my humble apologies for bad-mouthing your Wheeled Babe (gasp) A Porsche, no less.
Also for my late thanks for your speedy six-minute time estimate.
I will retire to the garage, the better to kiss your tire tracks.
That's waaaaaaaay too Freudian for me....

(That first pic in the Google search is certainly SOMETHING though... yoiks...)
Noddy,
In my experience, bras tend to damage the paint and should be avoided.
But if he really needs to get in touch with his inner teen,
Dys is right. 15 maybe 20 minutes.

The real question is how quickly can he get the bra off and can he do it with only one hand.
Practice does help.
You have an Alfa, she says?
Or maybe I knew that already.
What color is it?

dlowan- Car bras are a big Florida thing. Twice a year, we have "The Invasion of the Love Bugs". Those little critters swarm all over in a frenzied orgy of mating (That's why they call them, "love bugs".) This phenomenon lasts about two weeks, twice a year.
Anyhow, if you are on the highway, and run into a swarm, they smash all over your car. To prevent them from getting into the engine, and also ruining your paint, a lot of Floridians install the "car bras".
I never use a car bra, But I do use a lot of "Goo Gone"!
