@P E Dant,
I had an air fryer for 6 months before it burned out. I used it mainly to make wedge potatoes.

Deep fry or pan fry? If you deep fry, what do you do with the leftover oil?

@coluber2001,
Pan fry, in a non-stick frypan (with a tiny bit of olive oil which goes in with the food when serving)

You are given the opportunity to take one of those 'under-the-city' tours through the sewers and unused tunnels etc... Go, or run away?

I'd love a tunnel tour. Not sure I'd want to wade, though.

You like being out at night without lights.

Plain cookies. Not a fan of cookies filled with fruit filling.

Soup, stew, or paella?

Repurpose - they are good for 'hand covers' when polishing your shoes or, when balled up together, for putting a final polish on the furniture etc etc

There is a circus in town - somebody is circulating a petition to have circuses banned - sign or not?

@P E Dant,
I suppose I'd sign. Even though the few circuses that do come to NYC now tend to openly NOT have any animal acts in them (usually the main reason why these petitions are in circulation).

In your purse or bookbag or backpack you take with you when you go out, which items do you make sure you always have:
A comb/hairbrush or medicine or Bandaids or tissues/napkins or book or magazine or Kindle e-reader?

The manuscript of your latest literary effort has been returned from every one of the publishers you sent it to; not one included a reason for its return - write to them all and ask for a reason, or just put it down to snobbery?

If the publishing house and the submission department was led by a professional, they might add some constructive criticism for the rejected manuscript. Even if they don't have any intentions of giving it a second chance, that criticism might be helpful in reediting the manuscript so it can be pushed forward to other publishing houses for possible publication.

Watching a movie or tv series from a nonEnglish language speaking country (that's not your own native tongue):
Watched it with English subtitles or watch it with an English language dub?

@tsarstepan,
I really enjoy watching the 'dubbed' movies Smile

Sometimes the accent or emphasis used is hilarious and makes the worst sort of movie into a comedy, especially when the dubs don't align with the mouth movements!... eg - any of the dubbed 'The Girl With...' movies - I know a lass who worked on a Finnish movie that had every scene shot twice - first in Suomi and the second in English; it worked well in both languages

When trying to find out about a breaking news story:
1. listen to the news on the radio;
2. turn to a news channel on the TV;
3. check social media;
