Novice Requesting Help Using Computer For Air Tickets

A friend, to whom I often give some help on the computer, asked me to help him find some cheap air fares to Orlando, Florida for Dec 22, I believe.

In the past, I have looked up Travelocity and Expedia.com, but I often wonder if there is anyway to find out about standby or cheaper fares, besides just looking them up on those sites.

Last time I looked up the fares for him, he found it much easier to take the bus from Connecticut.

Any suggestions? He will be leaving either from Brainard Airport in Hartford, CT, or TL Green Airport in Providence, RI.

Thank you.

I shall do that, when I see him later today.

Any other suggestions are welcome, as well. Smile

For absolutely lowest fare-last minute-you don't care what airline...go to Orbitz and then link to Hotwire. I've taken 2 am flights from Orlando to Seattle for $150 rt.

I just did a quick comparison of the Orlando-Seattle round trip for a specific week in January. Orbitz had it for $242 and Sidestep $246...both sites are efficient.
