When I answered youngman's query, I was being specific. But to honk your horn and make another look little you generalized the whole thing. Of course if a professional offers advice that is wrong to even an adult it should be considered wrong just like yelling fire inside a theatre for fun is wrong. Next time when you don't have answers to specifically address an issue, I suggest you admit it to yourself and don't try to look BIG for no reason at all!
This online group that you tried to create, were you running it on your own server, with your own domain, or is it the school's servers and thier domian? If its the school's, then you are limited to their TOS. If it is your own server and domain, then you are not obligated under their TOS because you are not using their servers or domain.
