I found a coin that says on one side: One Quarter 1907 . The other side says: Edward VII King . Could someone identify this or send me to the right forum? Thanks
I'm sorry, but I don't have any of my reference books available.
With Edward VII on it, it's obviously from a British Commonwealth member (or colony, at that time). Since the denomination is a quarter, I'm betting it's either Canada, or possibly NZ. Odd though, that it's not inscribed with a country.
Any good library ought to have the book "Standard Catalog to World Coinage". It's about the size of a large telephone book, is arranged by countries, and has pictures of just about every coin ever minted.
Definitely Canadian - they are the only Dominion country to issue a 25c piece. This is the 1908 minting:
Nothing to add to the above response.
Very impressive, Mr. Stillwater!
Why thanks ya Piffka!

Thanks, it has fantastic images, doesn't it?
