I worked in sales for many years. I got a lucrative commission packet. The production people hates me because I made a helluva lot more money than they did even though they're the ones who did all the work.

Ah, yes....but the 5th and 6th divisions can only afford communal showers.

Sausage, beer, communal showers...oh I should have gone into sports...

Some of them get paid 50 thousands pound per week, startling!
What do they contribute to society? I see nothing!

I think that quite a few Premiership players in England, and their counterparts in Europe would feel rather disappointed with only £50k per week, which works out at a measly £2.6 million a year.

Here are the top ten footballers, including their income from advertising deals, as at May 2005.

David Beckham (£17m)
Ronaldo (£13.3m)
Zinedine Zidane (£8.8m)
Christian Vieiri (£8.1m)
Alessandro Del Piero (£6.5m)
Frank Lampard (£6.4m)
Raul (£6.3m)
Thierry Henry (£6.2m)
John Terry (£5.8m)
Luis Figo (£5.7m)
