near death experience - last episode of A Touch of Frost

I was working when they showed the last ever Frosty episode on TV and I recorded it, but the bloody channel 7 was late - as always! and the very end of the episode got cut off!!! arghhhhhhh. If anyone out there can tell me what happened right after the murderer stuck a knife into Frost's chest, I'd be very grateful... So far, I have no idea if Frost dies or lives...
