Your answer 'stew' is correct.

My Collins English Dictionary definition for 'hotpot' is:

1. Brit. A baked stew or casserole made with meat or fish and covered with a layer of potatoes.

Mega Stinker got me baffled Laughing

For 68d "quick gulp" I have g?l?op. All I can find for this is gallop, but I can't connect this word with the clue given. What is your afvice?

My Oxford Dictionary Of English definition is:

Gollop- Brit. informal Arrow verb (gollops, golloping, golloped)

Have put Stinker aside for a while. The puzzle in my Sunday Paper is on the table and is usually also a very tough one. Remember 'proactive" you assisted me with last week, well in today's solution it is shown as correct!!
