I have a Rainsoft Q2 which I just added salt to the tank. Whenever I add salt I go through all the settings on the system and reset them to make certain they are correct. When resetting the system today I noticed that the buttons on the panel didn't beep when I pressed them, as the have in the past, and once I completed the reset of the system the display showed "0 0" instead of the current time. I also attempted to start a cycle manually then, but this didn't seem to work either. Does anyone know what the "0 0" means and how to get rid of it? Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Try this:
Un-plug the unit. Remove the 9V and let the computer reset.
10 minutes should do it. Install the 9V. Plug the unit in.
The alarm should sound - press quiet alarm and enter your settings.
