Try this:

Take poutine
Add foie gras atop (can also smooth some into the gravy)

Eat!

How do you like your poutine? Got any heart-stopping treasures I need to try? Smile

Poutine is a cholesterol-rich Canadian "delicacy" consisting of french fries covered in cheese curds and gravy

To me gravy on french-fries with cheese doesn't sound very mouth-watering...but I would be willing to give it a taste test Smile

It doesn't look to enticing, does it?

I'd rather eat french fries with Mayonnaise then.

What?! Ohh My Gawd!! (best valley girl voice I can fake).

Poutine is taste-tactular! Those salty lil cheese curds. yum. yum.

Oh well. Thanks for the link anywho. I suppose it has been discussed already.
I just really wanted to share this crazy delight with the liver on top.

When you say foie gras, do yu mean the thirty-dollars-a-pound stuff, or what I call Braunschweiger or liver sausage?

Is that cottage cheese? Eewww....

Try a stuffed jalapeno instead.

Cheese curds are NOT cottage cheese.

A well-made poutine is a thing of joy.
Rare, but delightful.
I've probably had two good poutines in 30 years.

I'll tell Setanta about your recommendation. He may not take it all that well.

Have you got good locks at your place?
