Macy's Parade

Ah................I can remember when I worked on Broadway and 41st Street. The company opened the offices on Thanksgiving day, so that the staff and their kids could hang out the windows, and have a "ringside" seat of the parade!

It'll be a surprise for all as far as who will be performing. There will be the usual bands, floats, balloons, and what have yous and of course the final moment when Santa Claus himself rides through signaling the start of the Christmas season and the end of the parade. Then it's into Central Park and off for a ride on the carousel before heading home with my brother and sister and Uncle Bert to where Aunt Inez is preparing a fabulous dinner while the family slowly arrives...oh look Grampa is sleeping on the sofa . I hope there's extra marshmallows on the sweet potatoes and I can get an extree slice of mincemeat pie!

I looked around on the internet but couldn't get much in the way of a listing. Best bet would be to hit http://www.macysparade.com they at least list some bands but little else.

This is suprising that they are not listing more details ahead of the parade!

All the NBC website says is:

The funny thing was, I found a site that had everyone who would be in the parade, which I originally posted to my earlier post. But when I looked a second time, I discovered that the list was the lineup for LAST YEAR'S parade, so I edited it out!
