Dang -- #3 is the lie.

Nothing finer than BBQ'ing salmon out in a snowstorm ... We've got about 5 inches in the last couple hours, and I keep tracking snow into the kitchen! Very Happy

Someone else's turn... how about in the last 24 hours?

I don't believe it.

(((((((((((((((((RAE/MONTANA)))))))))))))))

If I ever go to war, I will call you two. You are my sweeties!!!

I have an excuse from my daughter.

Dear Three truths and a lie thread,

Please excuse my mother for ducking out in the middle of a thrilling exchange. She is my slave, and I screamed at her until she relinquished the computer, so I could drone on endlessly by Instant Messenger with my tall, skinny boyfriend. She put up a good fight, but in the end, I always win.
Signed,
Sofia's impossible teenaged daughter.

I hope I will see you guys tomorrow. Excuse the absence, please. Codeborg, please don't lie so much tomorrow. Cool

Code Borg suggests we try the last twenty four hours....

1) I fed my Neighbor dog steak.
2) Four navy jets buzzed my house 20 times.
3) My son and I engaged in a yelling match over the possible pregnancy of his dog.
4) I smoked two packs of cigarettes.

Family insists I accomplish mundane chores, such as cooking and cleaning.
I shall be off line until later this evening.

See you then!

I'm guessing #2.

I have some chores to do myself and will need to get off here soon.

Ok, last 24 hours.

1) I ate lasagna.
2) I kept getting bumped off line because people kept calling.
3) I did laundry.
4) I worked on some slippers I'm knitting.

I wish it was #2.

However, since Friday, four navy jets have buzzed my house ALL DAY LONG. My little Georgia town is having a festival, and they hired The Blue Angels to do an air show.

The town is small and my house is directly in their turn around path. Son and husband, and twenty four thosand of our neighbors are set up in lawn chairs, watching the show.

I have a feeling how intimidating it is to have navy war planes screaming low in the sky over your head. I don't think I could be much more intimidated if they were dropping bombs.

First, you see them streaking low above you, ......then seconds later you hear this godawful bloodcurdling screaming from the jets. My dogs have fallen into nervous comas.

The WalMart parking lot (cultural mecca in this area) is filled with yokels, sitting in lawn chairs in the backs of their pick-up trucks, all looking skyward. Stephen King could center a novel around this. The James Gang could come in and rob us blind, as all cops are parked on the roadsides, gazing skyward...

I want to play! And if anyone that has met me pops by you can't guess - that's cheating.

1. I quit my job to go on vacation.
2. I broke both legs in a motorcycle accident.
3. I've seen someone get shot in the head.
4. I've been skydiving with a man named Bruno strapped to my back.

These are not from the last 24 hours...

1. I passed the test to be a contestant on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, but flunked the interview.

2. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a veterinarian.

3. Matthew Broderick asked me what I thought about him doing a Godzilla remake.

4. I was the first person to ride in an ambulance at Walt Disney World.
