Hello.
My 2002 Camry was rear ended last week and the claims adjuster for the other driver's insurance came to look at it. Among other things from his 17 years of body shop experience, he said the Camry has a unibody construction and therefore has no frame that may have been bent. Does unibody truly mean there is no frame on the car with which to be concerned?
Pretty much no modern sedan is made with a traditional "frame," so yes, it's a unibody.
"Unibody" means that the body and frame are one-in-the same. There is no seperate frame that you could remove the body off of.
2002 Camry body--unibody= no frame????
Thanks for your replies.
