That's just cruel.

No, that's just plain funny. Dyslexia still can fire out the zingers with the best of 'em.

I never didn't say it wasn't not funny, goddammit Gus!

Where's your sense of humour?

I am a stoic individual. Humor is beyond my comprehension.

I am very sorry to hear it Gus. Very sorry indeed.

And, frankly, a little shocked.

Butter yellow, just for you, gus!

J_B again: Walter has been snapping photos like mad. I'm sure there will be plenty to see. Although he does seem to catch me when I'm talking, hmmmm, might be something to that

So what about cicerone? Any sightings yet? Is he playing Carmen SanDiego? That guy is traveling the world but gets lost in his own country Laughing

Seems you all have a great time, and I'm looking forward to Walter's
6987 pictures, and he isn't in NM yet. Laughing

I might add that we had had (and a couple still have) the very best hosts ... without our A2K'ers from Chicago the weather wouldn't have been so fine, the pizzas so great, the drinks so good ...

This advert was sponsered by the Chicago Tribune, the Polish Roman-Catholic Miners Union and the German-American Sausage Maker Association

ci arrived safely after spending a beautiful day in the city.

To the folks on tomorrow's riverboat tour: The boat leaves from the SE corner of Michigan Ave and the river (at Wacker Dr) at 11:00 am. We are meeting at the dock at 10:30. It's a 90 minute cruise and the tickets are $25.00. Some folks are planning on meeting at the same Au Bon Pain for breakfast at 9:00.

I am sure there will be many photos. Walter took thousands. However, he is very selective about what he actually posts.

I am glad to hear C.I. is safe. I had met him already, but all of us at sublime's party were puzzled. (New party game: Where in the world is Cicerone Imposter?)

Yitwail says he's mum, but he's a sharp guy and I am sure nothing went unnoticed by him. If he does give a report, I am sure he could say a lot.

Sublime was a hard-working and generous host. J-B was cool as a cucumber and probably said the most provocative line at the entire event. (I will not repeat what she said. Joefromchicago may divulge it, however.)

That's way more than I paid! Tonight I was denied entry to a bar, for the first time in my life, ever... but I aim to expand on that. Damn it, where is my Brooklyn? Crying or Very sad

I just wanted to say thanks for the contributions. It was unexpected and unnecessary but much appreciated. I'm just happy that you all came and had a good time.
