And to think we have to find enough decent players for 4 super 14 teams next season.

They were semifinalists last WC and played well. I still haven't forgiven that Brazillian twat for pretending the ball hit him in the face.

Is revaldo still playing first grade football these days in Greece? How did such a fine player end up all the way in no mans land?

Rivaldo had signed a 2-year deal with Olympiakos in 2004, so he's s still there.

They are really not doing very well in the UEFA Champions League : Group F Table

Ahhh, Olympiakos!

One nice thing about Australia beating Uruguay was the fate of Nery Castillo, a forward in Olympiakos.

Nery was born in Mexico, from Uruguayan parents and has lived several years in Greece, so he has the three nationalities.
In 2002 he was burning the Greek league and all 3 countries wanted him on their national team. His father (and agent) wanted extra $$$$. Mexico said no.
With both Greece and Uruguay eliminated in the World Cup, Nery is now begging for an opportunity in the Mexican team. No way, you mercenaries!
And besides, he's not burning the Greek league anymore Smile.

Do you think Australia will play the attacking formation 3-4-3 in the world cup finals?

Probably not. I think may 3-5-2, or 3-5-1-1 with Viduka up the front with at least two options every time the ball's at his feet and the goals at his back.

Oh, I see what you meant - Fbaezer was the guy I was referring to who told A2K about Uruguayan sensibilities - I said he was South America, but Mexico is North America. I put it down to my parents having too many 50 guitars go south of the border lps when I was a takker.

Castillo is not even in the substituters of Olympiakos lastly because his relations with Olympiakos' coach Trond Sollied are not good. He involved in a fight between two Olympiakos players and kicked one of them, then the coach wanted him out of the team, but there is still a possibility he will stay in Olympiakos.
