I read that Winona had a nervous breakdown, which prevented her from playing Mary Corleone, but hey, exhaustion, breakdown, what's the dif? We got stuck with Sophia and that's the saddest part of all.

At that time she was wrapped around Johnny Depp so there's no telling...

At the time, She was beautiful! She was young. She was innocent. She was the greatest piece of ass I ever had, and I've had'em all over the world!

But unfortunatly, Sophia got the part.

A few million bucks! Laughing

Alan King used to have a comedy bit on "exhaustion". His thesis was that only rich people are hospitalized for exhaustion. It was very, very funny.

Winnona Ryder is definitley hotter than Winnona Judd....who probably eats people.

Now you listen to me, you smooth talking son-of-a-bitch. Let me lay it on the line for you and your boss, whoever he is. Johnny Fontane will never get that movie. I don't care how many dago guinea wop greaseball goombahs come out of the woodwork.

Can you have someone take me to the airport? Mr. Corleone insists on getting bad news as soon as possible.
(or something like that... Very Happy )

We're not murderers, regardless of what this undertaker thinks.

He must let us draw the water from the well. Certainly he can present a bill for such services; after all... we are not Communists.

It's A2K Amateur Theatre Night and they're performing the Reader's Digest version of all three Godfathers in one sitting- You go guys!

Material Girl - Get thee to the video store and rent at least the first two movies. I think you'll love 'em.

The Sight and Sound poll of worldwide directors placed "The Godfather, I & II" as number two under "Citizen Kane." The two films which are really one long film with part III (pretty much like LOTR), should be a must see for any movie lover.

I'm a complete sucker for GF 1 and 2. 3 was a good flick but it lacked the history and prestige of the first two.

I believe in America...

III became too ponderous and collapsed under its own weight and yet it is still watchable.
