Hi all, I'm leaving next wednesday for the sunny climes of the carribean. I'm spending 6 days in the San Juan area with a short cruise dead centre of the trip. I hate just sitting around the hotel/resort/boat. I want to see the island, get a taste of island life. (I'm a prairie girl - never been that far south or for that matter warm.)
Have any of you ever visited or perhaps lived in Puerto Rico? I'd love to hear any ideas or of special spots to see.

Yes, me, my guy and his son. It's going to be fun.
I have been to Puerto Rico. Although I went with another woman in my single days so what my interests were and yours currently might be slightly different under the circumstances. So I won't fill you in on the casinos and nightclubs although they have plenty.
Something that may be fun is a tour of the rain forest. Also, there is history in San Juan I know there are some sights to see. There is a Hard Rock in San Juan also that your guy's son may enjoy. We also did a tour of the Bacardi Rum factory (free samples).
well Ceili as hot and attractive as you are my mrs would not appreciate my going.
