Well, what do you think guys? This question has puzzled me for a long while. Huh..
Yes; but, it is called eternal bliss (or eternal horror if you've been excessively naughty).
Has there been any scientific proof?
UGH....what? elaborate that?

Other than Dick Cheney, science cannot prove or disprove life after death. It is outside the sphere of science. Science can only say for sure that our bodies will one day cease to function.
i read about a recent research in which a dying lady was encaged in a room made entirely of glass. when the lady died, immediately then, there were seen severe cracks on the glass. ummm...quite mystifying that....whatsay?

Sounds like fodder for snopes.com to me.
Not sure what to think of that actually spidergal. But since I believe that at death it is our spirit that leaves the body, I do not think her spirit would have needed to make the cracks in order to leave the room. Sometimes you just gotta say "I don't know", and it looks like this is one of those times for me. (It happens so seldom though...lol)

The soul must make it's escape and return to the collective.
When my father died (at home in his sleep) his undershirt somehow made it to the ground outside his bedroom window...strange.
Of course, Questioner could be right. That could be fodder for scopes.com. Wouldn't surprise me.
lol your avatar is making me laugh

But, Neo, that's from the OT. Aren't we supposed to ignore that part of the bible?
ha, neo or coastal rat, can anyone of you tell me who this Dick Cheney man is ?

He's the current Vice President of the U.S. He looks like death warmed over, with a baboon heart, internal defribulator implant, external brain pack and is currently 45% recycled aluminum.

It was written for a purpose. (2Timothy 3:16)
There is no scientific proof of what happens to people after they die. It's a matter of faith. Either you believe or you don't.
There are numerous people who claim they briefly died and came back. Some parts of the their stories are the same (they all seem to see a bright light), but from there is seems to depend on your beliefs. Christians meet Christ, Buddhists meet Buddha, some people meet their mother or some other
previously deceased loved one. Most say the place was beautiful and full of love. Most people seem to get what they expect.
One thing for sure - we will all find out one day.
