Purchased Brand New 5 Year Old System. Need help installing

Greetings,

I just recently purchased a 5 year old system that my brother-in-law bought 5 years ago for a new house that fell through. It has never been used, still in original boxes, etc. It has 2 tanks plus the square salt tank. Could someone enlighten me as to how to install this system.. (ie.. in what order the tanks need to be installed. (big first, little first, etc.). I called rainsoft, and they want to charge me 300 dollars to just hook up the copper pipes ( the house is already plumbed for a softener system). I could theoretically purchase a home depot system for 500 and its' brand new.

Any insight would be helpful

Thank you in Advance,

cmoon

I will need pictures of the equipment and installation location plus model numbers.

You need a grounded electrical outlet to plug into and a vented drain to run to.

No pics yet, but I have the Model #'s
Greetings,

I havent been able to get pictures taken yet, but basically my installation location is the garage. It has been plumbed with pipe to hook up to the tanks to soften all water in the house. Drain has been installed as well. The model #'s are:

rf744 (the small one). Has dials inside the cover.
aq844 ( the larger one). Is digital.
square tank.

Not sure if this will help you and I'll get pics soon.

Once again, thanks for taking the time to answer this post

cmoon.
