Look ,I think "This too shall pass" is a depressing quote in itself because it applies and referes too good times too. That is sad to realize good moments and times shall pass as well.

Right but it's true. Everything will pass. It's all in the perception of it. We are all going to die. Everything will pass. The quote advises us to move on. Enjoy the time we have and don't dwell on anything, good or bad. Because we can't take it with us, even if the memeories are wonderful.
What I take out of your quote is that all pain will pass, it seems pain never stops coming my way.

Never look back - something might be gaining on you.
If it ain't broke, don't lend it.
Whether the glass is half full or half empty, somebody is gonna hafta wash it - 'less it gets broke first, then there's that mess to deal with.
If you're a pilot, never forget that inside any cloud may be a big silver airliner.

Dead my old fine hopes
And dry my dreaming,
But still,
Iris, blue each spring.

I cancan (because, as Emma Goldman said, when told the serious revolutionary had no time for frivolities, "If I can't dance, I don't want to be in your revolution".)
