Movable walls in finished basement?

Reply Fri 30 Sep, 2005 12:13 pm
I am contemplating finishing my basement, which has storage shelves about 2 feet deep along one entire wall, and I would like to make it look like a solid wall is covering that area, but I still need to get into the shelves to access any part of that area. On another wall I have my oil tank and I would like to use the rest of that area for storage also. I have searched a bit in the Internet for 'movable walls' without much luck.

Anyone out there have any good ideas?

I was thinking of something that actually looked like a wall.

removeable walls
Check out Lowe's Hardware (www.lowes.com). I have been looking at the exact same thing and they have a wall system that snaps in and easy out for accessibility.
