1 fresh killed prarie dog (per person), salt, pepper, nanakopsie, tuitsma or other herb seasoning.
1. kill the prarie dog(s) and immediately singe the fur completely to get rid of fleas. Scrape the carcass to remove any fur or ash and wash it well with clean water. Dress as you would a rabbit and leave whole.
2. stuff body cavity with seasonings and salt and pepper.
3. bake in 350 F oven for three hours, until tender (fat prarie dogs have a milder flavor than lean ones).
What color wine goes with that?
I usually serve grape Koolaid.
