manga are japanese cartoons, lordy. the kids i babysat loved yu-gi-oh, thus i have mostly bad associations with the dreaded thing.

Shocked Dang! For crying out loud I'm sorry I even bothered to write this topic! I thought someone here might actually like Yu-Gi-Oh!, let alone know what it is!
Anime is a Japanese cartoon that you watch on T.V.
Manga is Japanese black and white comics that you read in a book.
Mad There! Does that answer some of your questions?

We'd have welcomed you if you weren't such a brat. Grow up. No one was doing anything but posting in your thread. Not to mention, I tried to clarify what Yu-Gi-Oh was for those who don't know. If you'd bothered to try and mingle, you'd know that both Lord Ellpus and I tend to be a little off the wall. Dagmarka was trying to help. Your nasty comment is what we won't accept here. Starting the thread was just fine. At least you got some viewers. Many posters can't even say that.

Go ahead. Get angry. You'll fit right in if you stick in the Politics threads.

Maybe we should open up a Tantrum section.....you know, a junior version of what goes on in politics, or evolution threads.

We could have special emoticons for "did", "did not" and "did so".

Please, try to understand and hopefully forgive me, it was really late at night and I was tired, and when I'm up late like that I tend to not think clearly and get mad real easy Embarrassed

Good on you, Mystical old girl.......it's good to see you are quite a normal human being after all.

My tip is to have a look around the site and work out who are the barmy ones, and who are sensible all of the time.

Both of the sensible ones tend to log in on a Monday. The rest of us are here most of the week.

Again, welcome to A2K. The upside of all this is that I now know what a Oh-gi-yug is, and if I see one around here, I will let you know.
