I would have guessed Bosnia or one of the former Yugoslavian nations. But a quick google showed that they have mostly claimed no official state religion since independence.

It is so funny, the way the partisan left always says exactly what they're expected to.

France is burning--Muslims are challenging France for "occupied territories", and you try to make it about the US again.

France is burning. But, show yourself to be what you are. Try to make it about Bush while Europe explodes.

The US is going with creationism insanity and baning proper birth control and invading (until Bush started getting less popular and his lies found out) whom it wished.

Hmm...religious nut in the white house, listening to lots of other religious nuts close to the seat of power...stable secular democracy in France with riots like you guys have in black ghettoes...lots of 'em in the sixties.....remember? The world does...

Nah, if it comes to religious nut in France vs religious nut in the White House (IF that is why the Muslims are rioting...still only read nutty opinions like yours) I'm still backing you guys to fall to a near theocracy first...of course, you might always go sane....next elections.

Why do you hate Islam so much Lash? And not your own loonies?

Lash...that is one of the truly funniest thing you (or any of the Bush is god ilk) have ever said.

Do you know what irony means? Really?

You have gone about this site proclaiming that any sparrow that farts anywhere in the world has only done so because Bush is god, and his kingdom will be upon earth, that he is bringing joy and peace and wonder and the American way to all the benighted lands upon earth, oh hosanna.

Anything you thought was good was due to Bush.

NOW you complain that people think Bush and America are worth commenting about , as you say EUROPE (as opposed to bits of France did you know there are more countries in Europe?), is burning, and you unleash your hate against "theocracy" (ha?) abroad while supporting it at home?

That is really funny.

Loved it.

Encore.

an excerpt from the above link--which examines the explosion of Europe with Muslim extremists, who are taking over occupied territories across Europe--

Our mainstream media, in attempts to preserve the Left's chimera of "universal cultural compatibility," hardly write about all this. Nevertheless, for some years now West European city folk and police officers have been familiar with the reality that certain areas of major European cities are no-go areas, especially at night and certainly if you are white or wearing a uniform. Three years ago, a French friend who had his car stolen learned that the thieves had parked the car in a particular suburb. When he went to the police he was told that the police did not operate in that neighbourhood and consequently would not be able to retrieve his car. This is Western Europe in the early 21st century.

Nicolas Sarkozy became France's most popular politician by promising to restore law and order in the whole of France, including in the areas abandoned by previous governments.

excerpt calling it civil war in France--

"There's a civil war underway," one officer declared. "We can no longer withstand this situation on our own. My colleagues neither have the equipment nor the practical or theoretical training for street fighting." If there is, indeed, a war going on, Sarkozy cannot win it with troops that are mere policemen and fire fighters. As Irwin Stelzer pointed out last July when discussing the British reaction to the London bombings: In a war, use the army, rather than police. The latter, however, is unlikely to happen. If the politicians bring in the army they are acknowledging what the policemen, the fire fighters and the ambulance drivers know but what the political and media establishment wants to hide from the people: that there is civil war brewing and that Europe is in for a long period of armed conflict. This is the last thing appeasing politicians want to do and so they have begun to criticise Sarkozy.

They may actually use that military.

Your link led to no story, Lash...and I am googling for general rioting in Europe in vain.

I see some right wing journals predicting jihad etc, but no riots outside France.

Do you have another source?

Checking other sources as I speak.
