1998 Isuzu Rodeo Speedometer and Fuel gauge problem

Hi,
My mother-in-law has a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo. The speedometer and fuel gauges recently stopped working. However, the odometer still works. The speedometer stays at 0, the fuel gauge stays on E, and the gas light stays on even though it has a full tank. What is the cause and what can be done to fix it? Thanks in advance for your time.
