Did anyone here do anything special for St. Patrick's Day 2025?

My son is well into Guinness.

I baked a loaf of Guinness bread and madehim a sausage sandwich with Guinness sausages which he enjoyed with a pint of Guinness.

We then went down one of the locals with a promotion on, but it was way too loud, somebloody DJ playing awful music at top volume so we only stayed for a pint.

Did you and your son watch any St. Patrick's Day parades?

No, it's an American thing.

The closest we have is the Lord Mayor's show.

We've got pomp and circumstance coming out of our ears, trooping of the colours etc. so there isn't the need for parades.

In Lewes papier mache effigies are paraded through the town on Bonfire Night prior to being burned.

I listened to House Of Pain's "Jump Around". That's about all I did for the holiday.
