What's your national bird?

I remember the historic thinking back to Benjamin Franklin … back when they were picking the national bird. He was against picking the bald eagle 🦅. He felt that because it stole the captured food away from other birds it was a creature of bad moral character. His preference was the turkey due to its more hardworking and honorable nature.

Our national bird is the Emu, with our national animal the Kangaroo as both creatures as said to be unable to take a backward step.

Lately my national bird is my middle finger.
