I saw a ghost once in an old painting, but I hadn't slept for 50-odd hours and was pretty much out of my skull Cool

I once thought I was seeing a ghost. But, turned out it was just the smoke curling up from my joint.

Which ghost? When I was very young I read "Casper" comics; is he the one? (If so, good for them--he is, after all, the "friendly ghost.")

What sort of proof would be acceptable, Alap? Capturing one in a bottle, perhaps?

Laughing

there is a regular ghost here in the house.
He smacks drums, rings the door bell, one time even emptied the contents of my daughters ( 1 year old ) dresser on to the floor, tipped the dresser sideways..
long story
but it wasnt her, me , her father, or her grandmother.

have i SEEN it ? yes

one morning I went into jilians room and she was standing in her crib ( this was a few months ago) and staring and giggling at the corner.

When you walk into her room, to your left is her changing table. Between the changing table and the wall is a thin 6 drawer tall dresser. The wall facing you on the farthest side of the room is a big window and no furniture. To your immediate right is a book shelf and the farthest wall to your right is where her bed is.
She is over 10 feet away from this dresser and anything else for that matter.

We had 2 black plastic storage boxes stacked up in front of the dresser, just far enough away so we could get into the drawers with out hitting them.

The dresser was tipped over andbalancing on these bozes.
The drawers were ALL open and all of the folded clothes were in small piles around the room. Some directly under the open drawers some around the base of the dresser.
Nothing else was tipped over. Nothing else touched.
This dresser is HEAVY. With everything out of it , it still weighs about 30 lbs.
There was no crash. There was no cat in the room to have caused it, Noone else was awake at that moment . All of the clothes were still folded.

Jillian ignored me completely and just stared at the corner of the room. Giggling, her fized stare freaked the fcuk out of me.

Since then. we get random rythems played on any one of our many drums. Cymbals get struck, guitar strings plucked. ( the guitars hang on the wall.. but there are some in their cases locked up... they get plucked as well )
chimes get played.. you name it.
The door bell goes off sometimes at odd hours. Lights flicker, and there are even times it sounds like someone is smacking the walls.

I actually think it is pretty neat.
I mean, how many people can truly say their house is haunted? how many people get to ' see a REAL ghost?"
I love it and I hope, when we move, he follows

Well, I don't want to be in a haunted house... You're one brave person.

Neat, yes. I would consider moving anyway.

Thanks for sharing. I don't doubt a word, and I have no conventional explanation.

But you say you've also "seen" this ghost, shewolf? Tell us more. BTW, I'm quite in tune with you as to being fascinated by this addition to the family. I, too, would wish to stay.
