Batten down the hatches danon, & all!
Got Beth's clicking done. Unfortunately I can't seem to get into aktbird57's acct. and give you all those great totals Beth does every day. I'll keep trying though.

dev, way ta go! Very Happy

I believe Dan accesses the aktbird account when Beth travels. Perhaps he'll post the stats today.

Texas, N.O. and Louisiana coasts had surges of 20 feet, the water breaking levees partially repaired in N.O. - and sending waste deep flood waters to previously devastated parishes.

Will hurricane season ever end???

Thanks for the kudos, stradee!
And why ARE these hurricanes so horrible?! How much is left to the hurricane season? Too much, I fear.

dev, that's a good question. Given weather pattern changes, we can only speculate. Global warming a real issue the United States had better begin addressing, imo.

The Web definition of Hurricane Season is: The portion of the year having relatively high incidence of hurricanes. In the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico, it is usually June 1 through Nov. 30.

omg, October and November yet! Sad

The waves might have been rough elsewhere, but at seven this morning, the bay was a joy - not many more kayaking days before I'll have to hawl it up.
Are you still"lit",Dan?
