Danon's at the other end of the state, ehBeth. Worry about edgar blythe and our other Houstonians. Rita is now a stronger storm than Katrina ever was.

Dan, a Texas state alert link <listed on the map by cities>
http://iwin.nws.noaa.gov/iwin/tx/tx.html

....all wildclickers in Ritas path...good thoughts for your safety!

Wildlcickers can check states warning alerts at the same site - U.S. map page: http://iwin.nws.noaa.gov/iwin/iwdspg1.html

Edgar posted that the pdid's have booked accommodation away (hopefully far away) from the storm track.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I didn't think that Danon was in the track, but I've been known to get my American map very very twisted.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Can someone take over the clicking for my accounts and Aa for Friday through Sunday? the dogs and I are off to three days at Dog Camp. Very Happy

Hi all,

I just heard from ul =
--------------------------------
"Hi Dan,
just found your PM, but I belong to the members who don't meet the privilege to use PM.

Susan hasn't mailed for a long time- I think she is having again a wave of depression, This happens very often.
When Katerina hit I checked the news for her area, the paper said :

SAMPSON-DUPLIN COUNTIES - As Hurricane Ophelia tormented Wilmington and other coastal areas Wednesday, her rains and some of her wind made it as far inland as Sampson and Duplin counties. But, she didn't leave any damage in her wake.
All she really left was some much needed rain.

- - - (about conditions, etc.)
So I hope she is ok. Sorry, that is all I know.

We did have a great time in the States- relaxing in our favourite beach area on the Outerbanks and a nice trip through New Mexico. Now already working long hours.

I hope you and Patty are well- and that this new hurricane will be easy on you.

Take care,

Ul"
----------------------------

So, sounds like sumac is ok. She is probably having more puter probs. Certainly hope all is well.

We are not in the line of attack for Rita. However, I expect we will get lot's of rain.

I am hoping our Houston friends will be safe.

Pardon my lack of a2k knowledge, but Ul- is Sumac?
I especially wanted to say that I can empathize with Susan as I too deal with depression (Suprised?, nasty thing that. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers as well as those in the path of hurricane Rita.
Keep safe, danon. Thinking of you and yours as well.
Clicking.

devriesj, susan is 'sumac' and Ul a member of the aktbird team also, who sent an e mail to Danon regarding sumac's recent absense from the rainforest thread. Both are terrific ladies.

We are happy hearing the hurricane did not affect sumacs home. We're also not sure if sumacs computer in the hospital again, or if sumac isn't up to posting right now. Difficult to say unless we hear from her.

Sending good thoughts and hoping for the best.

Take good care, devrtesj Smile
