In a religious context...what is "FAITH?"

Yep.

In a religious context (which is what we are discussing here)...a person makes a bunch of blind guesses about the REALITY of existence...calls them "beliefs"...

...and then insists that the guesses are correct...and calls that "faith."

We agree.

Can faith be validated by possibly the bible? A very historically accurate book?

No.

And just what makes you suppose the Bible is "a very historically accurate" book?

Many, many historians call into question essential parts of the Bible...although almost all agree that it does accurately mention that a places called Rome and Egypt existed.

Most of the fairytale parts from Genesis...and certainly the story motivating Exodus.

Well, of course they would question the creation of everything...but what would they expect to find to support the accounts? Other than evidence for a younger Earth?

Well...they could always do what frightened, superstitious Christians do, Thunder. They could simply say "A GOD created everything...a GOD that always was...and even though this is a bit of silly guessing pulled out of thin air...I am going to insist that it is correct."

I mean...they could always do that.

If they were frightened of the unknown...or superstitious...or just intellectually lazy.

Or they could continue to search and probe and investigate...and try in every way possible to figure out what in heck is going on here.

That is what I would suggest they do.
